State Bank of India (SBI) released official notification of SBI
PO Recruitment 2014, inviting applications for the post of
Probationary Officer (PO) State Bank of India (SBI) conduct PO
exams. Due to more vacancies in bank for PO
the exam is now not
as tough as it was earlier.
Dates for SBI PO exam 2014:
On-line registration of application : 07.04.2014 TO 25.04.2014
Payment of fee :On line 07.04.2014 TO 25.04.2014
Payment of fee : Off line 10.04.2014 TO 28.04.2014
Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO 2014:
1. Educational Qualification requited to fill the form:
Candidate should be Graduate degree holder in any
stream from Indian university or any equivalent qualification
which is recognized by the Indian Central Government (AICTE/ UGC).
2. Age Limit to fill the form : You age should be
between 21 to 30 years as on 01-04-2014 for the exam to be
conducted
in May 2014 exam.
Relaxation in Age limit by government of India
For OBC there is 3 years age relaxation and for
SC/ST/ Ex service men category age relaxation is of 5 years
Time to attempt the Test & Test Pattern:
The total time period of the exam is only three hours.
Number of questions that you will find in your question
paper will be 205.
Time duration to attempt first 4 section is 2 hours and for last
section you are
left with 1 hour only. The exam conducted will be of 250 marks.

50 questions from topic Data Interpretation and Analysis
50 questions of logical reasoning (High Level)
5 questions from Descriptive Paper on English Composition
Selection Process for SBI PO :
Paper is basically based on 3 different stages one by one:
i. Written examination which consist of (Objective + Subjective
questions)
ii. Group Discussion on any topic for – 20 marks
iii. Personal Interview by highly qualified interviewers – 30
marks.
Final selection is based on you examination result you group
discussion a
nd you personal interview.

Register on official website of SBI forPO exam and get the

registration number and password generated. Once you
successfully completed
form filling, press submit button. Take the print out of the
application form with you.
You can later on download your admit card for writing the
examination.
